Established in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2015, Dixa was founded on the principle that there must be a better way to do customer service, one that allowed the creation of value-driven experiences for customers as well as empowered agents to do more than solving tickets for the business. In February of 2021, the company acquired the Australian knowledge platform startup, Elevio, to empower agents as well as customers with AI-optimized knowledge base and contextual experiences. In March 2022 we acquired analytics leader Miuros, and automation pioneer Solvemate to further boost our product offering in this space.

Dixa has expanded globally within the first years since launch and now has 200+ employees in offices across Copenhagen, London, Chicago, Berlin, Paris, Lyon, Tallinn, and Melbourne. The company has raised more than $155 million in funding to date with backing from Notion Capital, Project A Ventures, SEED Capital and in mid 2021 completed a Series C funding led by US-based General Atlantic.

This position is primarily responsible for managing daily accounting tasks. The Accounting Team Lead will be a part of a team of professionals working together with four Accounts payable team members to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances. In this highly impactful, hands-on role, you will be able to utilize your expertise and accounting knowledge.

You will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable function and ensuring the accurate and timely processing/reconciliation of financial transactions. You will work closely with outside stakeholders & 3rd party suppliers and will hold strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships. In order to be suitable for this role of significant responsibility, you must be an accomplished Finance Officer. You will have proven Accounts Payable experience and have worked within a similar role providing accounting support.

Responsibilities

    • Be responsible for overall Data quality & the Group Trial balance accuracy
    • Be responsible for payroll bookkeeping & validation of data
    • Be responsible for the optimization of processes for book keeping & accounting by establishing internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions
    • Be overall accountable for the month end & annual group audit ensuring the completion in time.
    • Establish & ensure proper accounting methods, policies & principles are practiced
    • Be responsible for VAT reporting for the group
    • Training, and motivating accounting staff members while supervising and delegating AP department tasks.
    • Planning & setting the goals for the AP team to ensure objectives are met.
    • Take the lead on the IFRS implementation in 2023
    • Take the lead on the new ERP implementation making sure the accounting team is supported.
    • Be overall responsible for the OKR followup for the AP team & ensuring timely completion
    • If needed be part of the other projects with the growth of the company

Who you are

    • A qualified accountant with minimum 7 years of in Finance & Accounting preferably within audit.
    • Able to demonstrate a high level of competency in spreadsheet skills and in analysing and preparing data.
    • Financial accounting and consolidation experience.
    • Demonstrated understanding of accounting and reporting principles and processes.
    • Demonstrated experience in leading teams, on- and off shore.
    • Knowledge of IFRS and Danish GAAP (IFRS 2 and IFRS 16 preferable).
    • Enthusiastic and motivated to develop and learn.
    • A calm, confident, approachable personality with good experience to work within a diverse team.
