Responsibilities

Product Managers (PMs) are the in-house experts at defining what customers need from our products, and translating that into prioritised features, designs, specifications and ultimately into services that reach millions of users. You’ll work closely with senior Product Managers, Software Engineers (SWEs), Designers and Data Scientists to ensure our products exceed people’s expectations.

PMs are typically responsible for specific features in our technology solutions and for the full product cycle, as a PM you will be dedicated to building software to empower every person and organization on the planet to achieve more, this will be achieved by performing the following tasks:
  • Work on the initial feature planning and design phase, manage the specifications of their development, and monitor their on-going operation to better understand customer experiences
  • You will be opinionated but also data informed
  • Work collaboratively with teammates to ensure our products exceed customer expectations
  • Clear communication throughout the process to understand progress towards delivery, technical challenges that may occur, and to provide clarity on customer needs using a data driven approach
  • Learning and adopting relevant new technologies, tools, methods, and processes to leverage in your solutions
  • Improve customer documentation and learning content
  • Author and publish marketing material that showcases new features, including social media content and instructional videos
  • Participate in Quality Assurance activities for product features, aggregate and present feedback to stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design and Technology or a related field with at least one semester/quarter remaining after internship
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of computer science fundamentals that affect code implementation and customer experience
  • Some experience designing software, apps or technology for customers beyond the classroom environment is preferred
  • Demonstrate ability in feature definition, design, and feasibility
  • Familiarity with managing complex project schedules and nurturing cross-group collaboration
  • Demonstrate skills in articulating the business and customer rationale for investments, and awareness of technology trends
