As a Project Procurement Manager in our Global Construction Procurement team, you will support one or several of our offshore wind projects during the construction phase. Whilst the primary focus will be contract management of non-tier 1 construction contracts.

Your tasks in the role:

  • Support our global offshore projects with an initial focus on Offshore Site Management Package (OSM);
  • Coordination of the offshore site management and contract managing all non-tier1 contracts to ensure contractual deliverables are met during the construction phase;
  • Undertaking procurement activities for the respective package which might be required during construction phase, active engagement in SAP.
  • Managing all commercial operations for the respective package, such as payment applications of the Contractors, forecasting costs etc.
  • Close collaboration with the package team during construction phase; advising on contractual and commercial issues, identifying risks and registering them in the system, reporting to the PM and SPOC on regular basis.
  • Being the single point of contact for the Contractors regarding all commercial and contractual matters. These contracts are mainly; marine coordination works (e.g. service vessels, CTV), offshore communication systems, boys, UXO, PPE, helicopter chartering, vessel audits, gen-sets etc.
  • Responsible for drafting of Employer communications and responding to Contractor’s correspondence;
  • Change management including variation order requests, issue variation order documentation and cost assessment/control.
  • Claim management including drafting the claim, collecting the evidence documents and cost input for all incoming/outgoing claims from/to the Contractors. Respective negotiations with the Contractors,
  • Providing Feed-in to the next tender process / collaboration with Category Supplier Relationship Management

About you who we want to hire

In order for you who are applying for this role to have the right conditions, we believe that you have a relevant university degree with preference for Engineering, Technician, Construction Management or Business Administration.

We would like you to have at least 5-8 years of experience of contract management and procurement preferably on offshore windfarms or power station construction projects delivered under a multi contract contracting strategy.

You are also welcome to have:

  • Ability to anticipate and manage contractual and commercial risks to maximize / minimize impacts to the project;
  • Experience in drafting, negotiating and contract managing of construction claims
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and especially SAP. Ability to learn new processes and tools quickly.
  • Readiness to travel internationally. For candidates outside Copenhagen, regular visits to the Copenhagen office are expected.
  • Team player with solid negotiation skills who can manage several project stakeholders during the construction phase.
  • Very good communication skills in English, both orally and written

We offer a hybrid workplace where you can combine work from home and from our offices, in this role you can either work from our central office in Malmö at Triangeln or from our newly opened office in central Copenhagen.
