All parts matter. We are producing equipment and production lines on a big scale. Every chain, every screw, and every core is essential for the quality of the machinery when it makes 43,000 ice creams per hour. For our team in Kolding, we are looking for an experienced Purchaser with a solid technical understanding that can manage a dynamic workday and a wide variety of components.

You are an engaged and positive person with a passion for working with technology and business together with colleagues. In the role of Purchaser in our Procurement team, you will actively collaborate with our global supplier base.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Placing orders at the best price, due time, and quality required
  • Purchasing order management to ensure timely delivery
  • Collaborating with various internal departments and keeping them informed
  • Supplier development – drive continuous improvements in performance
  • Responsible for suppliers on the operational level – SRM
  • Performing procurement activities together with the Category Manager
  • Running procurement optimization projects, including negotiations and sourcing
  • Ensuring the correct stock level
  • Supplier data management
  • Claim handling
  • Invoice approval

Your background and personality:

We are looking for a colleague who is experienced in procurement/sourcing. A background in the machine manufacturing industry, product knowledge, and hands-on experience in a similar role in an international environment, including experience working with a global supplier base, is a plus. You might have a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field ex. Engineering, Economics, or another relevant educational background. You have excellent computer skills (Excel, MS Office) and an advanced level of ERP understanding.

To be successful in this position, we expect you to be a result and business-driven person and have experience in teamwork and negotiations in an international environment.

Fluent English, both written and oral, is essential.

Due to global partners and suppliers, the position requires traveling (a few weeks per year).
