What You Can Expect

To achieve total budgeted sales and individual product targets for the assigned territory and to represent the Company in the highest professional manner. To adhere to Company policies and values at all times. Attain proportionate regional sales targets and exceed present Company turnover. To maintain and grow profitability by adherence to Company pricing policies.

How You Create Impact
  • To sell on an entirely exclusive basis, the Company’s range of products as directed by management strategies.
  • To develop close relationships with all orthopedic surgeons and allied personnel on the territory.
  • To plan and execute all of the necessary training in the use of company products.
  • To follow up on any leads or visits, prioritized and in a timely manner.
  • To adhere to divisional sales strategies and pricing policies.
  • To undertake other duties such as attendance at sales meetings, exhibitions, staff training etc.
  • To ensure that all samples or instrumentation assigned to the individual are cared for adequately.
  • To take part in consignment stock checks of instruments and implants, when required.
  • To provide weekly/monthly report to the Sales Manager, outlining performance, activities and competitive situation.
  • To ensure CRM system (Salesforce) is kept up to date and available at all times.
  • To provide market intelligence to divisional management as and when required.

  • Meet district budget and individual goals in My Career
  • Managing own time effectively, prioritizing customers with high influence on market and public tenders, high procedure volume and high adoption to ZB and our strategic products.
  • Effectively build relationships and trust with key stakeholders and others (egg. purchasers, customers, HCPs, colleagues).
  • A high number of trials leading to later conversion to our products, winning new customers by keeping clinic meetings, workshops, product demonstrations, and customers updated on product news.

Core Competencies:

  • Product knowledge: Independently communicate, demonstrate and instruct safe use of our products to HCPs on a level where you highlight positive features and benefits that can challenge and improve their current patient treatment.
  • Manage district coverage: Independently work in a structured way with high frequency of customer visit. Analyze and understand customer needs in relation to strategic products and create district activity plans.
  • It requires a good strategic and tactical product/customer understanding, as well as high level of personal learning skills within Health Care Business.
  • Being a good personal planner, be proactive and work ahead in good time, be persistent and have very good persuasiveness skills.
  • Possess strong awareness to notice opportunities to enhance our business and taking new initiatives in a trustworthy way.
  • To devote adequate time to acquiring the necessary knowledge of Zimmer Biomet and competitive products required for him/her to be effective.
  • Act as a team player, always providing own resources/ knowledge internally & externally when needed.
  • Focus on customer first, acting immediately on customer needs and seek to find solutions.
What Will Make You Successful
  • Educated to minimum A-level or country equivalent level
  • Preferable business degree or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 year experience from selling in healthcare industry
  • Preferred – knowledge of designated territory, hospitals and relevant hospital personnel
  • Proven Selling and negotiation skills
  • Excellent in presentation techniques and communication skills
  • Numerate and literate skills
  • Fluently in Danish and good English skills
  • Experience from CRM systems (Salesforce)
  • Microsoft office (strong user of Excel and PowerPoint)
