Sr. Program Manager, Associate Program Director, Program Management
FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies in Hillerød, Denmark is looking for a candidate who aspires to join the Program Management organization in a fast-growing CDMO.
You will lead Programs related to manufacturing of DS, DP, and FG, for our customers and be the link between customer and the site in Denmark. Program Management (PM) competences is required to be successful in this role.
About the department
Program Management is a core function within FDB. We are a growing team of currently 6 highly professional and dedicated Program Managers/Directors (PMs) with broad experience within pharmaceutical development and manufacturing of both DS, DP, and FG.
As a PM you will lead Programs throughout the Program lifetime, starting at the commercial team over Program Management to the rest of FDBD organization within Large Scale Manufacturing.
The scope is to be the key contact for the customers which programs you will be leading, including the internal Core Team supporting programs. Strong skills in communication are a must as you will cover a broad variety of tasks related to customer interface, internal stakeholders, and senior management.

The role
The Program Manager (PM) is accountable for the planning and delivery of programs from the point of contract signature (Scope of Work / Letter of Intent / Contract) through to program closure. The PM ensures we provide services in alignment with our contracted commitment to clients and our company vision/mission (strategy and compliance) and will handle an average load of 1-4 programs. You will receive coaching & guidance from the Head of Program Management and Peers within PM. This role can include support of the FDBN Facility Program mgmt. team and programs executed at FDBN site.
Other functions in this role can extend to supporting the initial customer interface and the Commercial organization, with input from Program Mgmt., as well as potentially supporting with both process design/regulatory and knowhow in the initial phases of program design with the customer.
Active participation in the development of best practices to be deployed globally extends the impact of this role, beyond sites and modalities.
Your primary tasks will be – but not limited to
  • Project lead on internal and global projects related to building a world class global PM function
  • Organize, Lead/manage meetings
  • Engage impacted functional areas for inputs to ensure alignment on PM improvements
  • Ensure that all templates available for PMs are current
  • Organize, lead, and facilitate cross-functional project teams in the activities as required
  • Support PMs in the, Track and report program performance and partner with the Finance Team to ensure accurate & timely completion of financial transactions
  • Drive team adherence to MPP milestones; monitor deliverables & ensure functional accountability; escalate to functional leaders as appropriate. Maintain and post a tracker of risks and action-who-when for functional deliverables
  • Keep current on cGMP and quality requirements required for the position
Your Talent
  • BS /MS in scientific field, knowledge in CC manufacturing space either in DS, DP, FG is considered a plus
  • Demonstrated expertise in Program Management. In-depth knowledge of biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations (DS / DP / FG) as well as CMC and regulatory aspects.
  • Customer Relationship Management.
  • cGMP & FDA regulations.
  • Leading-coaching-developing-motivating large cross-functional teams to achieve targeted results.
  • Problem solving & conflict resolution.
  • Knowledge of basic financial accounting.
  • Building trust, respect, and collaboration across the organization.
  • Strong verbal and written English skills and comfortable with clearly articulating issues across the organization.
  • Knowledge of project/program management experience is a plus
  • Interpersonal and customer relationship management skills
