Job Description

The LEGO Group is looking for a SaaS Configuration Engineer to work on our newly launched Workday platform which operates the global and local HR processes for 40 countries.

Role overview:

As a Workday Engineer you will be part of a new, evolving product called Talent Acquisition and Development. The mission for the product team is to take care of recruiting, onboarding, and developing talent at the LEGO Group.

Together with the team and business colleagues, the Workday Engineer will support this goal by delivering and maintaining configuration mainly within Workday. The product team also utilizes other platforms to obtain business value. We are looking for someone who would be curious to learn and grow to have knowledge within these platforms as well.

Core responsibilities:

In this role, you will work in the product engineering team, so you can support the team in meeting our collaborators’ needs.

This is a multifaceted role, which will include but not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Configure Workday within the areas of Talent and Performance, Goal Setting, Recruitment and Onboarding while considering how this configuration impacts the technological landscape end-to-end
  • This could be configuration of a business process to ensure a smooth candidate experience, or it could be setting up the onboarding process as per global requirements.
  • Ensure the right quality by documenting and testing your configurations before releasing
  • Be active in internal and external communities (e.g. Workday community) to get recommendations to problem solving and to understand future possibilities and features
  • Investigate and fix errors reported by the users
  • Collaborate with your team and the team’s stakeholders to ensure the best solutions

Desired experience:

  • Experience configuring within Workday
  • Experience with test and knowledge of test automation
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with a wide range of specialists and domain experts on different levels
  • Systematic approach – high on structure and detail
  • Understanding of modern web application architecture – cloud, APIs, serverless, microservices
